BBPS Bill Payments: Pay Every Household Bill at One Merchant Point

Which bills you can pay
At an authorised OUTPAY merchant point, BBPS covers most of the regular bills a household pays, including:
- Electricity, water and gas
- Broadband and landline
- Insurance premiums and LIC premium
- Loan repayment
- Education fees
- Municipal payments
- Credit-card bills
- OTT subscriptions
Services are made available through tie-ups with authorised banks and regulated billers, and are subject to eligibility, applicable limits and regulatory requirements.
What you need
- Your biller's name, for example your electricity board or broadband provider.
- Your consumer number, account number or registered mobile number, as printed on your last bill.
- Cash or another accepted payment method to pay the merchant.
How a BBPS payment works
- Visit an authorised merchant point. Find one near you.
- Tell the merchant which bill you want to pay and give your consumer or account number.
- Confirm the biller, billing period and amount fetched against that number.
- Pay the merchant and the payment is sent on to the biller.
- Collect your digital receipt as proof of payment.
Staying safe with BBPS
- Double-check your consumer or account number before you confirm, since a payment against the wrong number can be hard to reverse quickly.
- Confirm the exact amount and billing period shown before you pay.
- Always collect your digital receipt and keep it until the payment reflects with your biller.
- If a payment does not reflect after a few days, contact support with your receipt.
Where can I use it?
BBPS is one of several services at OUTPAY merchant points, so you can often withdraw cash and pay your bills in the same visit. See all OUTPAY services, or read more about Bill Payments (BBPS).
