Who can become a merchant
You will need:
- An active retail shop
- Valid identity and address proof
- A PAN
- An active bank account
- A smartphone with internet
- The ability to manage cash for customers
- A good local reputation
- Willingness to follow compliance requirements
Documents to keep ready
- Aadhaar card and PAN card
- Passport-size photograph and a photograph of your shop
- Business proof and address proof
- Bank statement and a cancelled cheque
- GST registration and trade licence, where applicable
- Your mobile number and email
